Here is a small example, how to setup Behat / Mink and test a site with javascript. Read David Winter’s original article for background.
The example is a face lifted version of his original example.
Look at the code on Github.

Arrived on Friday. Skipped the first day :( CPH-FRA-STR nice 4 hours flight. If you have transfer in Frankfurt try MoschMosch. Great soup!
There was a great selection of sessions. It was hard to decide where to go. Here is my track record:
And of course great discussions between and after the events.
Now TYPO3 is a BIG family. NEOS, FLOW, CMS, SURF. This is a much clearer message to customers and helps a lot with communication.
Another nice move is that the community opens up for more collaboration with projects, like:
Symfony, The Midgard Project, Ember.js, Travis CI, Packagist, etc…
Yet another deployment framework. Phing, Ant, rake, pake, etc…
It is in early stage, lots of promises. I wish the best for them. The bigest news here is the extension-coreapi. Automation now possible for TYPO3. (There is also a TYPO3 console project.)
Great and inspiring presentation from @tomdale about ember.js and javascript web applications. Here are some other javascript application frameworks: backbone.js, angular.js and more libraries require.js, create.js.
The next version of the TYPO3 CMS. It was good to hear that the commitment is strong on supporting the “classic” product line. Looking forward of the release at the end of November. The version 6.1 will be the real hit for conservative adopters. You can follow the release timeline here.
With the two other connected sessions (Travis CI and the Test session) you got a full overview with best prectices on the topic. The message : Write test first!, Run the tests continuously! Oh and here is promising javascript test framework buster.js
Hmmm… Not convinced, JQuery Mobile still in my focus
I skipped @christianjul‘s talk about package management, but TYPO3 uses composer and it is on packagist.org now!
You can watch all the presentation on youtube
The next TYPO3 conference will be at San Francisco May 30-31, 2013
Thank you for the great event and organization! Live long and prosper
I am putting the things together
Stay tuned
